So you’ve decided to jailbreak your iPhone 5c but you don’t know how to. This tutorial is for you. Thru this article, I will explain step by step how to jailbreak an iPhone 5c. I am going to use the evasi0n 7 exploit to jailbreak. At the moment, it is the only software which is capable of jailbreaking any Apple device running on iOS 7.
You can check which version of iOS your iPhone is running by going on settings > general > about and scroll down to version. But if you have an iPhone 5c, you are running iOS 7 or above.
Before I start explaining the procedure of jailbreaking, you should and must backup your iPhone 5c. It is important that you do so, because if any goes wrong during the evasi0n 7 jailbreaking process, you can always restore your iPhone 5c and get back all the data (contacts, sms, photos…) that were on your device. There are 2 ways to back up your iPhone 5c, the first one is to do it directly from your iPhone by tapping on settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and tap on “Back Up Now”. The Second way is by using iTunes on your computer, connect the iPhone 5c to your computer, open iTunes, click on the iPhone button, in the summary page, click on “back Up Now”.
