1. Check your processor

To convert your video or DVD much faster, you can first make sure your processor is using the latest NVIDIA CUDA or AMD tech:

- for computers running windows 7, go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Performance Information and Tools

- for computers running Windows XP, right click My Computer -> click Properties -> choose Hardware -> click on Device Manager -> double click on processors, or right click My Computer -> click Properties -> read your processor Type on General tab

2. Update the NVIDIA CUDA driver or AMD drive to the latest version

If you have installed the latest NVIDIA CUDA or AMD driver, omit this step and go ahead to your conversion, if not, go to the official site to download:

- If your computer uses AMD tech, you are required to install the AMD Media Codec Package (also known as the Avivo™ Package) which will enhance your video conversion greatly in the video encoding. To install the package, go to AMD Media Codec Package Download.
